The popular television show Bringing it Home with Laura McIntosh is on the short list of the 39th Annual Northern California Area EMMY® Award Nominees for Graphic Arts/Set Design. The Bringing it Home kitchen set reflects the natural beauty of the fields and farms in which the fresh, in-season ingredients featured on the show are grown. The Emmy® award is presented for outstanding achievement in television by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) and San Francisco/Northern California is one of the most influential chapters awarding the sought-after regional Emmy® statuettes.
The Northern California Area Emmy® Awards recognize television and advanced media programs and individuals from Visalia, California to the Oregon border and includes Hawaii and Reno, Nevada. This year 762 entries were received in 58 categories.
